1. With the house to myself while the Deke is in Chicago, I made the best progress I've made all term long in getting caught up with reading and grading student essays. I've been dreadfully behind all quarter long and it really feels good getting caught up.
2. The papers have been very good. I've read some astonishingly beautiful essays today.
3. InlandEmpireGirl is making plans for when she and Silver Valley Girl and I get together in Kellogg next week. We should have a blast.
