1. Snug, Maggie, and Charly ran and chased each other in the back yard in figure eights in the snow.
2. Snow? In Eugene? Five inches in some parts of the town. It came down in snowballs for some of the day, big wet sloppy snow wads that piled fairly fast.
3. My World Literature students' latest writings on The Odyssey helped deepen my thinking.

I can't believe that you got more snow than I've gotten this year. I never saw five inches when I lived there. At least not unless I drove up into the mountains. Never never never in the valley.
I'm jealous. All we've gotten here is a waste of cold air.
