1. The Deke and I were up and at it this morning. Our trip to the clinic was a bust since the doctor was sick, but we had coffee at Kellogg's premier coffee house, The Bean; we returned to True Value and made a final decision on paint color for the living room; we got an orientation at the Wellness Center in Smelterville; we drove to Wallace for a coffee at Wallace's premier coffee house, The 6th and Cedar Espresso (a.k.a. The Wallace Coffee House). We returned to Kellogg where we ate a solid lunch at Best Shots and did a little banking.
2. The painting prep, the painting of the trim and molding, and the other jobs in the kitchen and living room are coming right along. It looks like the painting in the these rooms could be done on Friday and the cabinets have arrived and Shawn might be able to get them installed at the end of the week. We still have some selections to make regarding counters, sink, ceiling fans, and appliances, so I'm thinking Tuesday and Wednesday might be occupied with those decisions.
3. The Deke and I warmed up a lasagne from Costco over at Christy and Everett's and took over a salad and Christy contributed a great loaf of bread and the four of us had dinner together and talked about the eventful day. Christy had an eventful shift at the library, she and Everett have workers getting a project underway in their backyard shed, and, of course, we had a lively day in our house with our own project continuing. I had been up early this morning and hit the wall before 9:00 and again enjoyed crawling into our new and comfortable bed.
