1. Christy's pain subsided some today. That's encouraging.
2. I had fun in the kitchen today doing some preparation for Monday's family dinner at Carol and Paul's. I want the food to surprise Christy, Carol, and Paul, so I'll write about this preparation more after we've had dinner.
3. One of my very favorite places to visit in Washington, D. C. is the National Portrait Gallery and today Adrienne took Eloise there. Debbie sent out a terrific picture of Eloise next to the portrait of Barack Obama in the museum's awesome "America's Presidents" permanent exhibition.
