CSI: Madison Street

For the back story to these pictures, read Nothing to Jack . Here is the crime scene, my unlocked 1993 Honda Civic:

The perp found only casino player club cards and a packs of Northern Quest playing cards in the glovebox (and some photos which I took in the house):

The perp decided not to read a recent Vanity Fair article about Karl Rove. It's even highlighted for skimming:

Call me weird, but I never leave home without a jug of Safeway Select Laundry Detergent. The perp's laundry must have been clean. He left the detergent alone:

He didn't want to read "Hamlet" or "Death of a Salesman" either:

And, lastly, portable dog kennels and tire chains must not be moving very well on the streets of Eugene. You'd think they'd be worth a little bit of meth, but, even though he got in my trunk, the perp didn't take 'em. Nor the ice scraper (and it's been cold in Eugene):

And that's the way it is, December 7, 2006, at the Honda Civic crime scene, across Madison Street from Raymond Pert's. Be safe.

Oh! One last thing. Good thing Snug wasn't on guard to rip the perp a new one:
