1. I arrived in Portland and had a good lunch and a fine talk with an old friend.
2. I was hanging out in the baggage area at PDX and who should pop into my sight? The Deke!
3. At first, the Deke and I thought we'd go out for dinner, but then decided it would be a lot easier if I just cooked those two flat iron steaks on my new cast iron skillet. We were right. Simple, sweet dinner.
