1. After my 9:00 Intro to Poetry class today, my superb student Faith asked me if I were going home to get a shoe. I didn't understand what she meant. She instructed me to look at my shoes. Here's what I saw:
Who me, absent-minded? What a beautiful thing to be a stereotype!

I have so done that. More than once. It just means that your mind was focused on loftier ideals instead of fashion. Yeah. That's it. At least that's what I told myself.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Was it that way allll day?
So funny!!!
That is referred to as a senior moment. Did you lose a shoe or find one?
This is what I wrote on HBO when I saw it... too funny....
"I almost blew my coffee thru my nose when I saw Ray's shoes... I did that about 4 years ago. Went out to lunch (I guess mentally as well as physically) with a friend. We went down to the beach and sat on the bench and looked over the lake. I happen to look at my crossed feet, and started to laugh. She looked and laughed too. Told her I had another pair just like these at home... Life is good to laugh at yourself..."

1. Student of Life: So glad I'm not alone! I agree about loftier things. I must have been thinking about the poetry I was going to be teaching today!
2. Therese: LMAO
3. Rick: Aren't I too young for a senior moment? (I guess not.)
4. Cis: I loved your comeback: I have another pair just like these at home. That's really funny!
I often discover mid-day that my underwear are either on inside out or backward. But at least I get stuff mixed up beneath my clothes :)
Mommy Dearest: In grad school I used to do the inside out thing on purpose when I got behind in my laundry. Your mix-up is really funny! Thanks for brightening up my blog!
Hmmm. I thought I had just left a comment but I'm wondering if I goofed. Forgive me if you see this twice!
I did the very same thing a couple of years ago. I was in church waiting to perform in the handbell choir I belong to. Sitting in the pews I looked down and noticed my feet. I can't help but wonder what people were thinking - there I was, supposedly listening to this serious sermon, sitting there giggling and blushing!
