1. I created more open space in my office by selling more books. It's a relief to me to move things out of the house, especially out of my office. The Deke and I are into total harmony on this point: neither of us is a collector or a pack rat.
2. I am enjoying reading "Water for Elephants", the first choice at Huckeberries Online's initial foray into having a monthly book club. It's also fun to do some reading unrelated to my job.
3. Could the drafting of Greg Oden mark the rebirth of Blazermania here in the state of Oregon?

The key to more space...sell books....what a novel idea!
I havn't seen the top of my desk for months and finally found it on Wednesday. Now I'm having the damndest time trying to look busy.
I have difficulty parting with anything. . .At least my husband has been very understanding. I don't toss his stuff, and he doesn't toss mine. . .LOL! (Now one of my girls is a real pack-rat, she has more clothes that someone can wear in a month. - The other 2 keep their stuff pretty lean.)
