1. The SLEEP OVER drew to an end when Molly and Hiram arrived before noon to gather up David and Olivia. Just under twenty-four hours earlier, Olivia had cried and protested that she didn't want to be apart from her mom and dad and had arrived at Nana and Grandpa's a little tentative about the whole idea of a sleep over. Turns out, however, she had a GREAT time and she left beaming at the prospect that one day this will happen again. David was all in from the start. I'm happy Olivia came around!
2. I might be a Grandpa wimp. In the middle of the afternoon, I retired to the bedroom for some quiet time with Charly and Maggie and fell into a profound coma sleep.
3. This morning, about six o'clock PST, Mom got out of bed, was dizzy, and fell to the ground. She managed to knock the phone in her bedroom that sits on her bedside stand off the carriage so she could call Carol to come over to the house and help her get back on her feet. I talked to Mom about three hours after this happened, and she sounded really good. I hope it's true that this fall wasn't too bad. I never heard back from Carol or Mom the rest of the day with news reporting otherwise. I'll check back in with her on Monday after the different helpers who come to see her have cleared out.
