I spent all day today scanning and editing pictures from Mom's collection of photos over the years.
1. I remembered, years ago, taking a bunch of close-ups of Silver Valley Girl, like this one:
2. My Uncle Bill was killed in WWII before he turned twenty, so not many pictures exist of my dad with his two brothers, Bill (the tallest) and Harry (the next tallest), and his sister, Ruth. I was glad to find this one:
3. InlandEmpireGirl worked at the old Kellogg Evening News. I'm glad she gives her blog more energy and passion than she apparently gave to her job in the newsroom!

Great pics and comments. Good thing you said the first one was a yawn. . .Looked like a scream to me!
Maybe it was a scream! It's been nearly forty years!
I think this must have been taken about the time Gary Corbeill said ,"no more doughnuts...sorry." and Wendell Brainard took the last cup of coffee.
If you look past my screaming face to your right, you can see the "beautiful, lush hillside" behind our house. Well, maybe there were a few bushes. To bad you can't see the infamous "KEEP IDAHO GREEN" which would have been a little farther to the right. And that definately looks like a scream to me, not a yawn.
The screams have it! I changed the title to scream and removed yawn!
I love family battles in good fun. :)
Actually, you should call it "The Scream", because, if I remember correctly, I think you were asking me to do my interpretation of Edward Munch's painting "The Scream" before this photograph was taken.
