Three Beautiful Things 06/23/07: Install, Whew!, Henry's

1. I recently purchased a compact laser printer and even with my growing experience with USB cords and CD-ROMs and installations and Paxil, I was a bit anxious about getting the printer up and running. I succeeded.

2. I finished the epic drama of getting my office/the room where I sleep organized, cleaned up, sorted out. Whew.

3. I bought Hiram a six-pack of Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve lager, trying to help him get as full and rich of an Oregon experience as possible. Since I quit drinking, I can only enjoy beer now by smelling it or by vicariously participating in another's enjoyment. Hiram took a long first draw from the bottle. My knees knocked under the dinner table. He set the beer down. He smiled. "That's really good." I responded casually, "Good. Glad you like it."

So you have completed the Archaeological Dig and didn't find anything to run Carbon dating on. . .Hum. . .
I really need to start a Dig in my Mary Kay room. Seems the skincare, scrap booking and sewing projects have all been partying when I am not looking. Not sure what I will find under all the hoopla on my table. . .

Perhaps some mutant offspring. . .

Good choice for Hiram. It has been a long time since I had a Henry's but I do remember it was a good beer.
