Three Beautiful Things 06/24/07: Constance, Ribs, Finally

1. A friend, Connie, whom I haven't seen for several years dropped in today and we had a great visit about things old, things new, and dodging bullets.

2. We buy farm fresh pork from Laughing Stock farm and the package we bought Friday included ribs. The Deke cooked 'em up and the tender meat fell succulently off the bone.

3. I've procrastinated getting some money things done and today I started to tackle these projects and could feel the anxiety proctrastinaiton causes me begin to lift.

Ahem! How did you say the meat fell. . .succulently?

". . .meat fell succulently off the bone."

Did it fall tastefully? attractively? invitingly?

I have never seen anything (or anyone for that matter) fall tastefully. . .

Ok, just checking to see if any of your students noticed the adverbial use - modifying "fell."

Sorry to be such a pain, but it gave me a laugh. . .

When you get all this "stuff" done like organizing offices and taking care of money matters.... you can take over mine! Seriously... doesn't it feel good to get tasks done and not feel overwhelmed?
